Our Bigfoot adventures really kicked off during Covid. My wife binge watched every documentary and series about Bigfoot that she could find. The most notable and popular would be finding Bigfoot and Expedition Bigfoot.

I’m not one to be able to sit through many television shows, but I have watched bits and pieces here and there.

I have always been open minded, yet skeptical. About everything.

This bigfoot world my wife got me into has led us to some of the most interesting, knowledgeable, good hearted adventurers I have ever met.

We went on a 4 day BFRO Bigfoot expedition in September 2022. We have another planned for 2023.

We recently attended our first Ohio Bigfoot Conference Salt Fork, which was an incredible good time. (The next OBC is May 4, 2024)

The Salt Fork State Park and Lodge is a great place to explore, relax or have some family fun.

There is also a Bigfoot Bash in Oscoda, MI in September 2023. Featuring Matt Moneymaker and Cliff Barackman from the BFRO /finding Bigfoot series, and Dr. Jeff Meldrum Anthropologist and Author of Sasquach Legend meets Science.

Believe in him or not , Sasquatch has gotten us off the couch, out camping, exploring and hiking. Even our daughter is excited when we go hiking and it opens her eyes and ears to her surroundings. We get exercise, fresh air and appreciate Mother Nature.

To be honest, if you’re really curious, I would suggest the recommended reading below. If you want to get a good look at who’s who in the big foot community and learn about the most credible sightings, evidence and history on Bigfoot / Sasquatch / Yeti check out some of our recommended reading:

Sasquatch Legend meets science by Dr. Jeff Meldrum

If you enjoy the outdoors, camping, glamping, hiking and exploring the world around you, here are some of our camping expedition must haves and favorites.

These are items we have purchased, reviewed and recommend.

Thermal monocular – affordable and fun allows you to see heat signatures when you’re exploring in the dark. We also like to use these just hanging around the campsite. Checking out the surrounding forest. Pretty cool tool to monitor wildlife activity at night.

Adjustable walking sticks (usually we just use 1 each. Great for feeling your footing in the dark and clearing branches and spider webs too.)

Sports Action Camera (to capture Bigfoot and other awesome activities)

Great kit! Great price!

Emergency survival kit… because you never know when you may need it. This kit has the most essential survival tools in one small pack that is easy to fit into your gear.

This little red light works great for night hiking….and squachin.

raccoon bandit

Came in handy chasing offthe midnight bandits stealing our food.

Water bottles – must have! Clips right on your pack, belt loop, etc

Now you can’t be without a pack to carry all of your gear! My wife used the larger pack because she has all the Squachin gear. I only have essentials and binoculars so I carry the small shoulder sling pack.

And some hook and loop (Velcro) patches that stick right into your tactical pack to give it some personality ☺️

So, even if you are not a believer, the mystery itself, getting outdoors and meeting great people along the way make Bigfoot fun!
